What to Expect

Upon arriving for your first appointment, I will ask you to fill out a confidential client information sheet, including medical history and general information to design the suitable treatment for your session. We will discuss your massage goals, including identifying problem areas, easing muscle soreness from physical exercise, and alleviating muscle tension from activities of daily life. In the treatment room, you will need to wear loose comfortable clothing for Shiatsu sessions; all other massages you can undress to your comfort level in private. You will be covered with fresh linens on a heated table and for your comfort, only the area being treated will be uncovered. You should feel comfortable in giving feedback throughout the massage experience.

Cancellation Policy

Our time together is important. Unless there is an emergency, we request that you cancel your appointment 8 hours in advance or pay the missed appointment fee in full. Please keep in mind that the therapist will be there only for you. Also, by giving full notice, another needy client can be scheduled in your place. 

    I am an assistant and lead instructor and graduate of the Center for Natural Wellness School of Massage Therapy located in Albany, NY since 2009. I specialize in Shiatsu/Acupressure, Swedish, Sports, and Chair Massage.

    I am licensed by the New York State Department of Education and involved with ongoing professional training to keep my skills honed and my knowledge of alternative healing therapies current.

    My additional certifications are in Advanced Five Element Shiatsu Massage and Traditional Thai Massage, TCM Cupping Techniques, ACE Massage Cupping Level 1, The Chakra System and Human Energy Field for Massage, Energy Mastery for Massage Therapists, Medical/Functional Massage for Hip and Thigh, Restorative Head, Neck and Face Massage.
